ASA-WM Volunteers

COME SKI WITH US!

Share your love of skiing and the great outdoors while helping others learn new skills and take on the challenge of skiing.

Non-skiing volunteers are also needed to assist with weekly registration, special events, bookkeeping, equipment management, marketing (social and digital), and athlete assistance.

Training and Important Dates

Training is organized and led by seasoned volunteers.  All skiing skill levels are welcome.  We’ll assess, train, pair you with an experienced instructor, and place you appropriately for your skill and comfort level.  Training dates for the upcoming season are as follows:

  • TBD - Teddy Knape Blizzard Bash

    • Party and ASAWM fundraiser

    • 6:00 pm at the Grand Rapids Downtown Market

  • TBD - Dry Land Training

    • All volunteers, returning and new

    • Pre-work required: Watch ASAWM Training Videos Part I and Part II before attending

    • O-A-K Operations Center - 6645 East Paris Ave SE, Caledonia, MI 49548

    • 6:00 to 9:00 pm

    • Dinner will be provided

  • TBD - Funds for Friends​ Fundraiser
